Four steps, no surprises.
Tell us what you are looking for
A finished piece, a loose stone, or an idea for something custom. Share your preferences, budget and timeline by inquiry form, phone or video call.
We source and document in Bogotá
Stones are reviewed directly with our sources in Bogotá. You receive photographs and video in natural light, measurements, treatment disclosure and the documentation available for that stone.
You decide, unhurried
See the piece by live video, or in person in Dallas by appointment. Nothing is ordered until you have approved the stone, the design and the terms.
Delivered to your door
Your piece ships by FedEx, tracked, with an adult signature required on delivery.
Simple, secure terms.
Wire transfer
Preferred for larger purchases. Banking details are provided directly once your order is confirmed.
Zelle
Accepted for smaller amounts, subject to your bank’s transfer limits.
Credit card
Accepted for deposits. Custom work begins with a 50% deposit, with the balance due before delivery.
Time to be certain.
Loose stones & private-viewing pieces
A 7-day inspection period from delivery. If the stone is not right for you, return it unaltered with its documentation.
Ready-to-ship jewelry
Returnable within 14 days of delivery, unworn, in original packaging with all documents. Return shipping is at the buyer’s cost, sent insured with signature required.
Custom pieces
Made for you alone, so custom work is final sale once the design is approved. That is why every detail is confirmed with you first.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item has been received and inspected. Full terms are in our refund and return policy.
Every stone is documented.
$5,000 and above
A report from GIA, the Gemological Institute of America, confirming natural emerald, clarity enhancement and country of origin.
Under $5,000
A report from RG Gem Lab in Colombia, directed by GIA-trained gemologist Rodrigo Giraldo, confirming natural emerald and treatment.
On request
A GIA report can be ordered for any stone, at the buyer’s cost and with added time for laboratory review.
Rodrigo Giraldo trained at GIA in Santa Monica and has more than 35 years of experience as a gemologist, professor and consultant in Colombia. His laboratory uses FTIR, Raman and UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy, the instruments used to detect treatments in emeralds.
What clients ask first.
Why not buy in Colombia myself?
You can. Buying well there means knowing whom to trust, how to judge treatment and quality, and how to bring a stone home. We handle that part, so you get direct access to Colombian stones without the trip.
Are the emeralds treated?
Most emeralds receive some form of clarity enhancement, most commonly oil. We disclose what is known about the treatment of each stone before you decide.
Can I see the piece before I pay?
Yes. Every piece can be viewed by live video, and private viewings in Dallas are available by appointment.
How long does custom work take?
Timing depends on the stone and the design, and is confirmed with you before the deposit is taken.
Begin with a conversation.

or describe the emerald you are hoping to find.
